The following are the WOAA Champion teams for 2024-2025 season and how they did at the 2025 OMHA Championship Tournament. Teams in brackets also advanced to the OMHA's with results as follows:
U11
Tier 1 Cruickshank Champion -Mid Huron (Listowel)
Mid Huron went undefeated in three round robin games with one win and two ties to advance to the semi finals against South Huron. The WOAA Tier 1 champions broke a 3-3 tie early in the third period and added an insurance marker with 45 seconds remaining. They needed that marker as South Huron pressed back and scored with 11 seconds left but Mid Huron held on for a 6-5 win and advanced to the final.
Listowel also went undefeated in their pool with two wins and a tie to claim first place. That set them up for a semi-final match against Lindsay and after a scoreless first Listowel tallied twice in the second and added two more in the third for a decisive 4-1 win and a trip to the final with their WOAA counterparts.
The final was a thriller as both teams battled hard for the red hats. Listowel finally opened the scoring with the lone goal of the second period. The teams exchanged two goals each in the opening five minutes of the third and the WOAA champions from Mid Huron tied the game midway through the frame. That set the stage for an exciting final 7 minutes of the third and 22 more minutes of overtime. Finally at 3:19 of the third overtime, Mid Huron claimed the championship over Listowel.

Tier 2 Gregg Champion -Central Perth (Goderich)
Central Perth earned a win and a tie in their round robin play to grab top spot in their pool to earn a spot in the quarter finals. They then defeated Haldimand River 3-2 before bowing out 4-3 to North Middlesex in the semi finals.
Goderich lost both of their round robin games but regrouped to squeak past Lambton Shores 5-4 in the play-in game. They then upended Frontenac 4-2 in the quarter finals before being eliminated by South Grey 6-2 in the semi final.

Tier 3 Lockridge Champion -Huron Bruce (Bruce Peninsula)
Huron Bruce had a two wins and a tie to claim top spot in their round robin pool. They then blanked their WOAA foes from Bruce Peninsula 4-0 in the semi finals before dropping a 3-1 decision in the OMHA final to Georgian Shores. In that contest Huron Bruce opened the scoring in the second period but Georgian Shores tallied twice before the end of the middle frame and got an insurance marker early in the third.
Bruce Peninsula finished second in their pool with a win, tie, and a one goal loss (to Georgian Shores) before their semi final loss to Huron Bruce.

U13
Tier 1 Cruickshank Champion -Kincardine (Arran Elderslie)
Kincardine played three close games in pool play with a pair of wins and a tie, good enough for first place in their pool. They then edged out East Lambton in the semi final before meeting up with the undefeated Ennismore team in the final. Ennismore opened the scoring with the lone second period goal. The WOAA champs from Kincardine battled back in the third with the tieing marker just over a minute into the period and they then potted the winner with 5:29 remaining in regulation time. They held on from there to repeat as U13 Tier 1 OMHA Champs.
Arran Elderslie battled through their round robin play with a pair of ties and one loss but missed out by a point to advance to further play.
OMHA Champion - Kincardine Finalist - Ennismore
Tier 2 Gregg Champion -Shallow Lake (Drayton)
Shallow Lake split their two round robin games to finish second in their group. The WOAA champs then blanked Milton 5-0 in the play-in game but were eliminated in a 2-1 quarter final to Haldimond.
Drayton had a win and a loss in pool play before edging out South Kent in the play in game. They then squeaked past Belle River 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday. The WOAA finalists tallied once in the first and again in the second for a 2-0 shut out win over Haldimand and punched their ticket to the final. Sturgeon Lake scored late in the opening frame and that stood up as the winner to deny Drayton the red hats.

Tier 3 Lockridge Champion -Wingham
Wingham won two and lost once in three round robin games, good enough for second in their pool. They then met up against a tough Orillia team in the semi-finals and lost 5-1 to the eventual champions.
OMHA Champion -Orillia Finalist - Bancroft
U15
Tier 1 Cruickshank Champion -Kincardine (Arran Elderslie)
Kincardine had a win, tie, and a loss in pool play and missed out advancing to the semi finals by a 2 goal differential in the tie breaker.
Arran Elderslie picked up a pair of wins in three games to claim second place in their pool. They were out scored 7-5 by Huntsville in the semi finals.
OMHA Champion -East Lambton Finalist - Huntsville
Tier 2 Gregg Champion -Listowel
Listowel had a win and a loss in their first two pool games before earning a tie with undefeated Kawartha. The tie meant a third place finish, just missing a playoff spot.
OMHA Champion - Kawartha Finalist - Mooretown
Tier 3 Lockridge Champion -Drayton (Wingham)
Drayton dropped their first two games of pool play before upending Mariposa 4-2 but it was not enough to advance on to Sunday playoffs
Wingham had a pair of wins and a loss to end up in second place in their pool. They were in tough against Mariposa in the semi final and were blanked 7-0.

U18
Tier 1 Cruickshank Champion -Mitchell (Saugeen Valley)
Mitchell dropped all three round robin games in the OMHA tournament.
Saugeen Valley picked up a win and a tie in three games but missed out advancing by one point with their third place finish.
OMHA Champion - Kawartha Finalist - Elmvale
Tier 2 Gregg Champion - Huron Bruce (Goderich)
Huron Bruce had a great weekend giving up only 2 goals with a perfect 5-0 record to claim the OMHA Championship. They breezed through the round robin pool play with three straight wins before blanking Ayr 3-0 in the semi finals. That pitted them against the other undefeated team in the tournament from Talbot. Huron Bruce got on the board late in the second period and then scored two more in the last half of the third to cap off their championship 3-0 win.
Goderich had a tough time finding the net and were winless in their three pool games.

Tier 3 Lockridge Champion -South Bruce (Saugeen Shores 2)
South Bruce had a pair of wins and a loss in pool play to end up second. They then clipped Twin Centre 4-3 in the semi finals to advance to their shot at the Red Hats. In the final against South Muskoka, the WOAA champs tallied once in the second and then clinched the championship with two third period markers for the 3-0 victory.
Saugeen Shores 2 also claimed a second place finish in their pool with a 2-1 record. They were upended 4-1 by South Muskoka 2 team in the semi-finals to crush their hopes of an all WOAA final.

U21
WOAA Champion -Walkerton (Saugeen Valley)
Walkerton picked up a pair of wins in their three pool games to advance to the semi finals. That meant a matchup against a very tough undefeated squad from Ennismore. In the most entertaining match up of the tournament, Ennismore opened the scoring in the second and it stayed that way until the final minute of regulation time. With the Walkerton goalie on the bench for an extra attacker, the WOAA champs finally found the mark with 31 ticks left on the clock. The teams battled through a scoreless first OT period and then with 1:34 gone in the second extra frame, Ennismore tallied the winner to advance to the final.
Saugeen Valley finished with a win and two losses in pool play and did not advance to Sunday’s playoffs.
